Well Johnny Dollar over its run had about six different black characters. Three of them played by the guy who was the coin operator in this episode.

You realize that the cars your artist is putting on the thumb nails are at least 10 years younger than the story . The story is from the early 40's the cars in the pictures are obviously from the fifties

I've listened to old time radio shows since the late 70s on various radio stations. Out of all the old timey detectives, Bob Bailey as Johnny Dollar is my favorite.

It reminded me of a 1 star review for the Audible Complete Shakespeare complaining that the horns playing in between acts were waking them up.
